Two More Ludicrous Demands
1) Before his meeting with top banking CEOs today, President Barack Obama called Wall Street bankers “fat cats” on 60 Minutes and is demanding bankers tell their loan officers they will not be rewarded for turning down loans.
Hmmm, banks want to lend $ as this is core to their business. Of course there are requirements in order to get a loan as just like you (if you were loaning) would like to have a good feeling that this person borrowing is able to pay you back. Now the President steps in and says the above? Hmmm.....
2) Copenhagen negotiations are far apart as poorer countries are demanding billions in financial payments before they agree to reduce emissions.
A $ hoax just further revealed itself.

Where is the money coming from to pay for the health care reform?

All of us should ask this question and get an answer that makes sense. If you just ask simple questions and look at what the bill states it does not make sense. Companies do not pay taxes. They pass this expense on in the products they sale. GM’s medical cost adds $1,500 to the price of a $21,000 Chevy Impala. Who do you think is going to bear the cost of excise tax the Medical device and Health insurance companies will see? These are two of the primary sources of income to pay for this bill. But my questions is “Who is going to be the one to pay this bill,".....yyyyaaaaa-----YOU! & ......I.

Gov't Services, Cost Rise & Service Falls
To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,
The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775 and it is now broke.
Social Security was established in 1935 and it is now broke.
Fannie Mae was established in 1938 and it is now broke.
War on Poverty started in 1964; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.
Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 and they are now broke.
Freddie Mac was established in 1970 and it is now broke.
The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. It is an abysmal failure.
You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??

The landslide victories of gubernatorial candidates Bob McDonnell in Virginia and Chris Christie in New Jersey, plus the Maine referendum upholding marriage as a union between a man and a woman, clearly illustrates that "the state of conservatism is strong," writes Heritage's Conn Carroll in Wednesday's Morning Bell.

Recent tragedy that unfolded at Ft.Hood is a very sad event. The community of heroes that serves to protect came under fire from within. A shocking, surreal event. Ahmmmm, some signs of life....
You have to read all the way to page A-25 in today’s New York Times to learn about it, but the Senate took its first floor vote on Obamacare yesterday and the White House lost. Big. The NYT reports: “Democrats lost a big test vote on health care legislation on Wednesday as the Senate blocked action on a bill to increase Medicare payments to doctors at a cost of $247 billion over 10 years. The Senate majority leader, Harry Reid, Democrat of Nevada, needed 60 votes to proceed. He won only 47. And he could not blame Republicans. A dozen Democrats and one independent crossed party lines and voted with Republicans on the 53 to 47 roll call.”

ONE OF THE BEST EXPLANATIONS OF WHY OBAMA WON THE ELECTION --From a teacher in the Nashville area "We are worried about 'the cow' when it is all about the 'Ice Cream.'
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year... The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother. The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Everyone applauded and he sat down.
Now is was Olivia's turn to speak. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."
She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and 52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other 48 percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess." This is the ice cream Obama promised us! Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone -- that they have not first taken away from someone else.

Have you heard that they are now estimating 2 million in attendance? A far cry from the 5,000 the media "anticipated".
The crowd was not unruly and "mob-like". They even picked up their own trash (took their own trashbags) because they assumed (correctly) that the National Park Service would not provide the correct amount of trashbins. They only had enough the bare minimum portajohn facilities for a much smaller crowd even though there were estimates of higher numbers it be attending. John said they were standing 50 and 60 people in a line to use a portajohn. Unbelievable! They just didn't want to make this easy. People who live in the area and ride the metro to work said they weren't running as many trains as they usually run much less MORE in anticipation of a large crowd.

Is America Coming Apart?

Flying home from London , where the subject of formal debate on the 70th anniversary of World War II had been whether Winston Churchill was a liability or asset to the Free World, one arrives in the middle of a far more acrimonious national debate right here in the United States .
At issue: Should Barack Obama be allowed to address tens of millions of American children, inside their classrooms, during school hours?
Conservative talk-show hosts saw a White House scheme to turn public schools into indoctrination centers where the socialist ideology of Obama would be spoon-fed to captive audiences of children forced to listen to Big Brother -- and then do assignments on his sermon.
The liberal commentariat raged about right-wing paranoia.
Yet Byron York of the Washington Examiner dug back to 1991 to discover that, when George H.W. Bush went to Alice Deal Junior High to speak to America 's school kids, the left lost it.
"The White House turned a Northwest Washington junior high classroom into a television studio and its students into props," railed the Washington Post. Education Secretary Lamar Alexander was called before a House committee. The National Education Association denounced Bush. And Congress ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate.
Obama's actual speech proved about as controversial as a Nancy Reagan appeal to eighth-graders to "Just say no!" to drugs.
Yet, the episode reveals the poisoned character of our politics.
We saw it earlier on display in August, when the crowds that came out for town hall meetings to oppose Obama's health-care plans were called "thugs," "fascists," "racists" and "evil-mongers" by national Democrats.
We see it as Rep. Joe Wilson shouts, "You lie!" at the president during his address to a joint session of Congress.
We seem not only to disagree with each other more than ever, but to have come almost to detest one another. Politically, culturally, racially, we seem ever ready to go for each others' throats.
One half of America sees abortion as the annual slaughter of a million unborn. The other half regards the right-to-life movement as tyrannical and sexist.
Proponents of gay marriage see its adversaries as homophobic bigots. Opponents see its champions as seeking to elevate unnatural and immoral relationships to the sacred state of traditional marriage.
The question invites itself. In what sense are we one nation and one people anymore? For what is a nation if not a people of a common ancestry, faith, culture and language, who worship the same God, revere the same heroes, cherish the same history, celebrate the same holidays and share the same music, poetry, art and literature?
Yet, today, Mexican-Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a skirmish in a French-Mexican war about which most Americans know nothing, which took place the same year as two of the bloodiest battles of our own Civil War: Antietam and Fredericksburg.
Christmas and Easter, the great holidays of Christendom, once united Americans in joy. Now we fight over whether they should even be mentioned, let alone celebrated, in our public schools.
Where we used to have classical, pop, country & Western and jazz music, now we have varieties tailored to specific generations, races and ethnic groups. Even our music seems designed to subdivide us.
One part of America loves her history, another reviles it as racist, imperialist and genocidal. Old heroes like Columbus, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee are replaced by Dr. King and Cesar Chavez.
But the old holidays, heroes and icons endure, as the new have yet to put down roots in a recalcitrant Middle America .
We are not only more divided than ever on politics, faith and morality, but along the lines of class and ethnicity. Those who opposed Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court and stood by Sgt. Crowley in the face-off with Harvard's Henry Louis Gates were called racists. But this time they did not back down. They threw the same vile word right back in the face of their accusers, and Barack Obama.
Consider but a few issues on which Americans have lately been bitterly divided: school prayer, the Ten Commandments, evolution, the death penalty, abortion, homosexuality, assisted suicide, affirmative action, busing, the Confederate battle flag, the Duke rape case, Terri Schiavo, Iraq, amnesty, torture.
Now it is death panels, global warming, "birthers" and socialism. If a married couple disagreed as broadly and deeply as Americans do on such basic issues, they would have divorced and gone their separate ways long ago. What is it that still holds us together?
The European-Christian core of the country that once defined us is shrinking, as Christianity fades, the birth rate falls and Third World immigration surges. Globalism dissolves the economic bonds, while the cacophony of multiculturalism displaces the old American culture.
"E pluribus unum" – out of many, one - was the national motto the men of '76 settled upon. One sees the pluribus. But where is the unum? One sees the diversity. But where is the unity?

Christmas and Easter, the great holidays of Christendom, once united Americans in joy. Now we fight over whether they should even be mentioned, let alone celebrated, in our public schools.
Where we used to have classical, pop, country & Western and jazz music, now we have varieties tailored to specific generations, races and ethnic groups. Even our music seems designed to subdivide us.
One part of America loves her history, another reviles it as racist, imperialist and genocidal. Old heroes like Columbus, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee are replaced by Dr. King and Cesar Chavez.
But the old holidays, heroes and icons endure, as the new have yet to put down roots in a recalcitrant Middle America .
We are not only more divided than ever on politics, faith and morality, but along the lines of class and ethnicity. Those who opposed Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court and stood by Sgt. Crowley in the face-off with Harvard's Henry Louis Gates were called racists. But this time they did not back down. They threw the same vile word right back in the face of their accusers, and Barack Obama.
Consider but a few issues on which Americans have lately been bitterly divided: school prayer, the Ten Commandments, evolution, the death penalty, abortion, homosexuality, assisted suicide, affirmative action, busing, the Confederate battle flag, the Duke rape case, Terri Schiavo, Iraq, amnesty, torture.
Now it is death panels, global warming, "birthers" and socialism. If a married couple disagreed as broadly and deeply as Americans do on such basic issues, they would have divorced and gone their separate ways long ago. What is it that still holds us together?
The European-Christian core of the country that once defined us is shrinking, as Christianity fades, the birth rate falls and Third World immigration surges. Globalism dissolves the economic bonds, while the cacophony of multiculturalism displaces the old American culture.
"E pluribus unum" – out of many, one - was the national motto the men of '76 settled upon. One sees the pluribus. But where is the unum? One sees the diversity. But where is the unity?

Outburst! I Couldn't Let this Go
As per Yahoo News, "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi directed a fierce frown at him; first lady Michelle Obama pursed her lips and shook her head from side to side. Vice President Joe Biden looked down and shook his head, too."
Well there you have it, the ministers of good etiquette have cast their shadow upon the individual Congressman whose emotions got the better of him. Mercy, please.
Seems I remember from history class that in the making of this nation, with some of the most intellectual government representatives this country has EVER had, the congressional meetings/conferences were quite "heated," with debates, name calling and likewise. Seems people do this when they feel passionate about the subject being discussed. Would it, could it, possibly have something to do with $, changing hands of power from the individual to the state? Please wake up, has anyone from the gov't ever given anything to you for free?

This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton’s Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison. Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straights and federal government graciously offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "Too big to fail," same story with GM.
The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar- literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM.
Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships to be closed. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other then Mr. Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government 788 had donated money, exclusively, to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only "Democratic" dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary's campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama's campaign. Does thatseem a little odd to you?

Maureen happens to be the former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she would have access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation, Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky coincidence, we're certain.
Then comes another really wacky coincidence. On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happened in Arkansas, North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri. It seems that Bill Clinton's former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealerships in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson. Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers.Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed - not one- while all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus, by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn't that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story's there, and it's in a dozen or so other web-based news organization, this isn't being made up.
Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are truly mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Worker's union- Fiat owns 20%.The other 15% is till privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn't want to run the auto industry.
As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America, it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs just because they don't agree with his political agenda. This is Nazi Germany/Italian Fascism stuff, and it's happening right here, right now, in your back yard. There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the "Automotive Task Force" has released no information to the public or any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. Keep your ear to the ground for more on this story. If you've ever wanted to make a difference about anything in your life, get on the phone to your national senator or representative in the House and demand an investigation on this.
Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, "All that's necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

An amazing thing happened as this story was going to press. Obama's Car Czar, Steve Rattner, resigned on July 13 and was promptly replaced by former steel workers union boss Ron Bloom. According to CBS News, Rattner left "to return to private life and spend time with his family." Treasure Secretary Tim Geithner said, "I hope that he takes another opportunity to bring his unique skills to government service in the future." By the way, Rattner is under investigation for a multi-million dollar pay-to-play investment bank scandal in New York.Uh-oh! But, we're certain that had nothing to do with his resignation. And, according to several news sources out there, there are rumors he's being investigated for what could be pay-to-play scandal involving the closing of Chrysler and GM dealerships. Really? Again, that couldn't have anything to with his resignation- that's ridiculous!Like CBS said, this guy just wants to spend more quality time with his family. Obama has thirty-two personally appointed "czars" that answer to no one but him, all of whom are acting without any Constitutional authority. But hey, we're sure they all have "unique skills," as Tim Geithner likes to say.

“President to make Un-precedented address to Public School students,” read the headline. Approval ratings dropping, ObamaCare stalling near ka-put, Americans becoming energized and standing up to say enough is enough. When under a barrage of criticism I suppose the idea is to address an audience who will not oppose you. Perhaps planting the seeds for future though I am sure parents fed up with government intrusion will tutor their children on the real message behind this “un-precented address.” I know I will.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. You can’t find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey ... You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about=2 0the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.
What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!
Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, tha t's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now?

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally. You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States .. You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.
I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Reidl explains that bailouts, the “stimulus” package, and expansions of entitlement programs have caused federal spending to increase at a pace not seen since World War II.
Here are some alarming statistics Riedl dug up:
$4.004 trillion -- federal government spending in 2009, a record.
$1.845 trillion -- federal spending beyond its means in 2009, the deficit.
$33,932 -- federal spending per household in 2009.
$25,969 -- federal spending per household in 2008.
$12,072 -- tax increases required per household to pay for runaway spending on Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security by 2050. (Alternatively, we could reform the programs.)
46 cents -- amount of every dollar Washington spends in 2009 that will be borrowed.
32 percent -- increase in federal spending 2008-2009
13 percent -- amount of the 2009 budget deficit relative to America's economic output. This is double the previous record
President Obama has repeatedly excused the government's spending spree as a necessary, but temporary, consequence of an inherited problem. The trouble is, as Riedl notes, that this spending is far from temporary: the President's 2010 budget would "replace this temporary spending with new permanent programs."
The President's budget proposal would create annual deficits of just under $1 trillion over the next 10 years, which is double the pre-recession deficit. And this lofty figure doesn't even include the President's costly public health care plan, which Riedl says "just digs the nation's financial hole deeper."
Earlier this year, the President patted his administration on the back for saving a paltry $100 million. But there are real savings available: Riedl highlights the Congressional Budget Office's "Budget Options" book, which identifies $140 billion in potential spending cuts.

“Nanny-ism,” Is Not in Our Nation’s DNA
Stimulus bills, Corporate bail-outs (TARP), government created (by the way non-productive) jobs have become the latest and greatest. Popular sentiment demands that when free market ups and downs become too down the elected representatives need to step in and maintain our status, livelihoods and well-being. This “Nanny-ism,” ensures their re-election and the population feels provided for. Provided for? When did we give up on self initiative, study, hard work and frugality as pre-requisites for success? Perhaps we gave up when it became easier not to do these things. When did we stake our national standard as lackards? John F. Kennedy did not address a nation of lackards when he stated, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too.. Each generation should look to ever higher goals than the previous generation accomplished. Government hand-outs retard our initiative, our growth and further drive us backwards. Our DNA is not comprised of such, we are not a Nanny state, it’s time to step up regain our drive, our initiative and commit to making ourselves better which will turn drive our nation to reach it’s potential.

Today marks the 233rd birthday of our nation. On this date in 1776 our founding fathers ratified the Declaration of Independence. This set us on a path that carried mankind further and faster than any time in the history of the world. Bless God for his guidance given then and today and God Bless America!

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

For abolishing the free system of English laws in a neighboring province, establishing therein an arbitrary government, and enlarging its boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule in these colonies:
For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments:

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America .
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America 's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?
These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.
Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK 's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.
The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Banking & 1st Amendment - A letter Sent to Our Elected Officials
Dear Virginia Elected Officials,
We appreciate your attention to matters that are important not only for the Virginia constituents but also pressing for our nation. That is why I write to you again today to present our view on two important issues.
First addressing economic issues our government seems to have jumped into the financial fire headfirst without a viable plan other than providing such a blaze with more fuel to burn. It seems that at least part of our problems stem from loans given to persons UNQUALIFIED for such from commercial banks due to laws enacted enforcing them to do so. Being we are now in the difficult situation of balancing the books we would like to know whether these laws have been revoked or otherwise subjugated to new laws rendering them impotent? It would seem to be common sense that when a patient is bleeding profusely we need to apply severe pressure to stop such PRIOR to administering a transfusion. Repeal these laws that allow such practices and let banks carry on with their market place transactions.
Second issue concerns legislation introduced by Rep. Linda Sanchez, D- Los Angeles. Her measure known as HR 1966, labeled the Megan Meier Cyber-bullying Prevention Act, actually extends far beyond cyber-bullying and would seemingly make it a federal offense to log onto the internet or use the telephone since such methods of communication where hostile speech would be banned include e-mail, instant messaging, blogs, websites, telephones and text messages. Clearly in modern times as communication methods have improved and notification and sharing of issues is instantaneous we MUST still live by our Constitutional freedoms granted to us. Let us ensure that we continue to abide by the 1st amendment and that this measure is not carried forth under any loophole to dodge what our founders intended related to freedom of speech.

Mr. and Mr. or Mrs. and Mrs.????
Mr. and Mr. or Mrs. and Mrs.???? There is something odd with this statement. I place my shield now.....I am not a hate-monger AND there is something odd with this first statement. More and more (unfortunately) we see issues making news that we would rather not see as news or see in any other light. One issue is homosexual marriage. I still shudder even saying such. Some things are wrong. Wrong to the core, just plain wrong. We were taught from an early age in church or from our parents reading the bible to us on such and other moral points for life. The goodness of our nation is founded on being a moral and just society. The extremely forward thinking founding fathers knew that religion was the backbone of maintaining our morals. No matter how much the "in," thing today is to bash religion it was and is an integral part of who we are. I have lived where religion is very much out of the everyday lives of society and believe me the morals are nonexistent. I do not want to go off in a different direction from where I started this but I'd like to tie the moral & just way of life to the error in believing such things as homosexual marriage, partnership, civil union or any other term for it.
We are bombarded through media outlets that this is "progressive," thinking and that this is the next great advancement of society. No matter how it is disguised it is repugnant to even consider gay rights on the same level as the struggle for civil rights for blacks earlier in our history. A matter of fact I will argue they are complete OPPOSITES. Being against someone due to their race "racism," is morally wrong and anyone condoning it is wrong in the eyes of our creator, persons suffering such should fight against such oppression. Two persons of the same sex forming a union/relationship/partnership as in the frame we understand as husband and wife is morally wrong and anyone doing such or condoning such is wrong in the eyes of our creator, persons seeing society condoning such should stand up and fight against this.
We must ensure the voice of the moral right is heard and that we protect our society from further degeneracy. We should not and will not allow persons wanting to participate in driving morals out of our society through whatever guise they may use to do so. Religion is the bastion of our principles, morals and upstanding guidelines for life. We have to bring such influence into our government and not separate it and treat it as an unenlightened force. I see no issue in doing so and not violating the separation church and state as I believe separation of church and state was intended to protect us from the government forcing a national religion upon us not to keep us away from religion. And any religion that people may practice (that does not cause harm to another) should be allowed to be practiced and it's thoughts and influence utilized by politicians practicing such. How can we separate the moral upbringing of a christian politician from the way his thoughts are formed and in turn legislation enacted? We can not and should not even try to. Many of the founding fathers were practicing worshippers of various faiths and they were able to all agree on "Our Creator." Fight for the moral protection of our nation, our children and our future. I have to wonder being the base of the speech is a prayer to God for our nation and way of life what type reaction would we get from today's society for such. The ACLU and left-wing liberals would more than likely cry foul and demand it be rescinded or maybe he apologize. These persons have and do undermine the integrity of our nation, our founders wanted separation of church and state to ensure all persons have a right to practice what religion they may choose and even to do so using government buildings as long as there was equal access for all religions. These people have turned the principle upside down and in doing so have created a society where the moral base is degenerative. This fits in with the title of my page "Wake Up America," the left-wing is destroying us not protecting us.

GM is truly Government Motors
Another sad day is upon us and I must say another first I thought we'd never see has arrived. Our government (representing us) is now the largest stakeholder in a previously private company that received taxpayer funds to bail-out the company "to get it back on track." Adding to the list of bail-outs we have a Bail-out turned Bankrupt. Too big to fail? I question such. Who will be deemed next as too big to fail? Will the government mandate we must buy x% of cars from this company? Take a step back people, we are an independent nation because our forefathers (guided by providence) decided to say here and now we take a stand. Where is our stand? Our country is turned topsy-turvy by our "representatives," and now we own a car company. As a bonified taxpayer will I get a discount on the purchase of a GM vehicle? Seems fair since I've already contributed to the company's well-being. NO I WILL NOT BUY A GM and it's not because I do not support American businesses. I support the principles America was founded on where limited government is the best government and when the government becomes larger and steps into this (financial institutions) and that (automotive companies) and the other (medical care/insurance) I say enough.....by the way did you see that new FORD? Go FORD!

We the People want BIG cars and CHEAP gas....
I am waiting to see how this unfolds, government enters private sector(automotive), forces company to build the cars it says, no one wants/buys these "mandated," cars, other "wanted," car prices are increased to subsidize the "non-wanted," cars, and then gas is taxed higher to force more purchases of the mini-do-da hybrid tin cans.....THIS is where it will get interesting as ALL Americans will come out of the woods to protest this....the "Saviour," will need a miracle for that....should be better than American Idol (oh I haven't seen that anyway).

I am a true-blooded American and take insult of our nation to heart but I have come to the point that must say we have a "pitiful President."

News on the Chrysler Saga

This weekend there was some very interesting information about the Chrysler bankruptcy in Barron’s. This past week we had a lot of news about some debt holders not agreeing to the plan and holding out for more money and this forced Chrysler to file for bankrupt. I think that is a true statement but as with everything today not the entire story. When you have many groups holding debt of a company the debt holders are generally placed in similar groups as they would be in bankruptcy court.
Chrysler has four different groups of debt holders, 1st lien holders, 2nd lien holders, 3rd lien holders and unsecured. The group that should get the largest percent recovery is the 1st lien holder and each group there after getting a smaller percent. The unsecured holders may get nothing or a very small percent of their debt in a bankrupt court. The plan that was rejected shows the 1st lien holder with $6.9 billion and they were to get $2 billion (about 29 cents for each dollar of debt). The 2nd Lien holders had $2 billion and were getting nothing. The 3rd lien holder had $4.3 billion and they were to get 8% equity in the new company. The unsecured was $10.6 billion and they were getting $4.6 billion plus 55% of the new company. As you can see the numbers are all over the place.
The 1st lien holder is secured with all of the plants, inventory, equipment, the Chrysler name. They are the physical Chrysler and if the company is liquidated they are first in line for money (this is a group of banks and hedge funds, mutual funds, retirement funds). The 2nd lien holder is Cerberus/Daimler and they had stated they were not looking for any money or ownership in the new company. The 3rd lien holder is the U.S. Government we loaned Chrysler $4.3 billion and we were to get 8% in the new company (the value of the new Chrysler is estimated to be $10.billion so our share would be $800 million). This is a loss of $3.5 billion of the money loaned to Chrysler. This is you and I. The unsecured creditor is the UAW and they were to get $4.6 billion note at 9% interest plus 55% of the new company about $5.5 billion in value. The UAW was due $10.6 billion and would get 10.1 billion plus interest. The UAW would get almost 100% of the debt owed. The only ones taking a loss are the secured creditors.
It will be very interesting to see how the Bankruptcy Judge handles this. If the company presents the same plan they could have a real problem based on pervious history. The decision is in the hands of the bankruptcy judge and we will see this unfold over the next 60 to 90 days.
This weekend there was some very interesting information about the Chrysler bankruptcy in Barron’s. This past week we had a lot of news about some debt holders not agreeing to the plan and holding out for more money and this forced Chrysler to file for bankrupt. I think that is a true statement but as with everything today not the entire story. When you have many groups holding debt of a company the debt holders are generally placed in similar groups as they would be in bankruptcy court.
Chrysler has four different groups of debt holders, 1st lien holders, 2nd lien holders, 3rd lien holders and unsecured. The group that should get the largest percent recovery is the 1st lien holder and each group there after getting a smaller percent. The unsecured holders may get nothing or a very small percent of their debt in a bankrupt court. The plan that was rejected shows the 1st lien holder with $6.9 billion and they were to get $2 billion (about 29 cents for each dollar of debt). The 2nd Lien holders had $2 billion and were getting nothing. The 3rd lien holder had $4.3 billion and they were to get 8% equity in the new company. The unsecured was $10.6 billion and they were getting $4.6 billion plus 55% of the new company. As you can see the numbers are all over the place.

They are the physical Chrysler and if the company is liquidated they are first in line for money (this is a group of banks and hedge funds, mutual funds, retirement funds). The 2nd lien holder is Cerberus/Daimler and they had stated they were not looking for any money or ownership in the new company. Fostering More Irresponsibility
Ladies & Gentlemen, in case you missed it,"Obama Administration Announces New Details on Making Home Affordable Program and Parallel Second Lien Program to Help Homeowners Achieve Greater, Affordability Integration of Hope for Homeowners to Help Underwater Borrowers Regain Equity in their Homes."
I'm sorry this is insanity. This in effect is a temporary reprieve for those irresponsible buyers whose loans were backed up by FM&FM originally through government pressure on the banks. To give the appearance to voters that the current administration is "working for them." So forget learning the hard lessons of financial responsibility the government "nanny," will be there to help you. If we do not fix the problem we are only exacerbating it....delaying the inevitable and hurting ourselves, our children and our nation. Do Not Buy What You Can Not Afford...it is that simple.

Tea Party Patriots!
Tea Party Patriots, an un-apathetic group, what we need more of!
Dear Friends and Citizens,
I would like to take the opportunity to recognize the Tea Party events and participants of such on Tax day April 15th 2009. Citizens came together across southeast Virginia, the state and the nation to voice their displeasure of government actions in regards to the “stimulus,” packages, bail outs and other runaway spending programs. These displeasures transcended party lines and reached into the hearts of every community. These Tea Parties were not protesting taxation without representation but displeasure and discontent with actions or lack of such by our elected representatives. People feel the government should try to make business climate receptive to the excelling of its citizens and not act as a wealth redistribution center.
Some news networks avoided coverage of these events as they did not fit their agendas or views and some even gave condescending remarks about the idiocy of such events. Certainly each of us is welcome to form our own opinions and my own is that there is nothing more America than voicing your own views publicly or privately without fear of retribution. In this case it was on the performance of our elected officials and as they work for us let’s ensure we hold them accountable. These persons participating in the Tea Parties rose above a problematic consciousness of our society today, apathy. Whether you agree or disagree with their views we all should recognize that becoming less apathetic and more involved, taking responsibility and not shirking it will improve many areas of our lives and nation.

Claim: A Michigan professor sent an e-mail telling Muslim students to leave the country. Status: True. The story begins at Michigan State University
with a mechanical engineering professor named Indrek Wichman.
Wichman sent an e-mail to the Muslim Student's Association. The e-mail was in response to the students' protest of the Danish cartoons that portrayed the Prophet Muhammad as a terrorist.
The group had complained the cartoons were 'hate speech'

I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians,

(the latest in Turkey), burnings of Christian churches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt , the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavian girls and women (called 'whores' in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland,
and the rioting and looting in Paris, France. This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many of my colleagues. I counsel you dissatisfied, aggressive, brutal,

I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option .Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.

They're demanding that Wichman be reprimanded and the university impose mandatory diversity training for faculty and mandate a seminar on hate and discrimination for all freshmen.
Now the local chapter of CAIR has jumped into the fray . CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, apparently doesn't believe that the good professor had the right to express his opinion. ==========
For its part, the university is standing its ground in support of Professor Wichman,
saying the e-mail was private, and they don't intend to publicly condemn his remarks..
