And we hardly heard about this from the mainstream media!!!!!!

And we hardly heard about this from the mainstream media!!!!!!
Have you heard that they are now estimating 2 million in attendance? A far cry from the 5,000 the media "anticipated".
The crowd was not unruly and "mob-like". They even picked up their own trash (took their own trashbags) because they assumed (correctly) that the National Park Service would not provide the correct amount of trashbins. They only had enough the bare minimum portajohn facilities for a much smaller crowd even though there were estimates of higher numbers it be attending. John said they were standing 50 and 60 people in a line to use a portajohn. Unbelievable! They just didn't want to make this easy. People who live in the area and ride the metro to work said they weren't running as many trains as they usually run much less MORE in anticipation of a large crowd.
Feel free to pass this on to others.
Please forward to the whole COUNTRY ! WE've got enough sleep, It's Time To WAKE UP AMERICA ! And let the whole world know we are AWAKE ! No MORE Naps !
No fighting, no smoking dope, no drinking, no arrests.
Yours in the fight to preserve our Republic,

No lice-infested, long-haired, dope-smoking, hippie types here. If they're trying to be an out-of-control violent mob, they need a lot more practice...and motivation. Somehow they don't look like the "astroturf mob" Pelosi and company are claiming attend these sort of rallys.

Is America Coming Apart?

Posted: September 10, 20097:53 pm Eastern© 2009

Flying home from London , where the subject of formal debate on the 70th anniversary of World War II had been whether Winston Churchill was a liability or asset to the Free World, one arrives in the middle of a far more acrimonious national debate right here in the United States .
At issue: Should Barack Obama be allowed to address tens of millions of American children, inside their classrooms, during school hours?
Conservative talk-show hosts saw a White House scheme to turn public schools into indoctrination centers where the socialist ideology of Obama would be spoon-fed to captive audiences of children forced to listen to Big Brother -- and then do assignments on his sermon.
The liberal commentariat raged about right-wing paranoia.
Yet Byron York of the Washington Examiner dug back to 1991 to discover that, when George H.W. Bush went to Alice Deal Junior High to speak to America 's school kids, the left lost it.
"The White House turned a Northwest Washington junior high classroom into a television studio and its students into props," railed the Washington Post. Education Secretary Lamar Alexander was called before a House committee. The National Education Association denounced Bush. And Congress ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate.
Obama's actual speech proved about as controversial as a Nancy Reagan appeal to eighth-graders to "Just say no!" to drugs.
Yet, the episode reveals the poisoned character of our politics.
We saw it earlier on display in August, when the crowds that came out for town hall meetings to oppose Obama's health-care plans were called "thugs," "fascists," "racists" and "evil-mongers" by national Democrats.
We see it as Rep. Joe Wilson shouts, "You lie!" at the president during his address to a joint session of Congress.
We seem not only to disagree with each other more than ever, but to have come almost to detest one another. Politically, culturally, racially, we seem ever ready to go for each others' throats.
One half of America sees abortion as the annual slaughter of a million unborn. The other half regards the right-to-life movement as tyrannical and sexist.
Proponents of gay marriage see its adversaries as homophobic bigots. Opponents see its champions as seeking to elevate unnatural and immoral relationships to the sacred state of traditional marriage.
The question invites itself. In what sense are we one nation and one people anymore? For what is a nation if not a people of a common ancestry, faith, culture and language, who worship the same God, revere the same heroes, cherish the same history, celebrate the same holidays and share the same music, poetry, art and literature?
Yet, today, Mexican-Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a skirmish in a French-Mexican war about which most Americans know nothing, which took place the same year as two of the bloodiest battles of our own Civil War: Antietam and Fredericksburg.
Christmas and Easter, the great holidays of Christendom, once united Americans in joy. Now we fight over whether they should even be mentioned, let alone celebrated, in our public schools.
Where we used to have classical, pop, country & Western and jazz music, now we have varieties tailored to specific generations, races and ethnic groups. Even our music seems designed to subdivide us.
One part of America loves her history, another reviles it as racist, imperialist and genocidal. Old heroes like Columbus, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee are replaced by Dr. King and Cesar Chavez.
But the old holidays, heroes and icons endure, as the new have yet to put down roots in a recalcitrant Middle America .
We are not only more divided than ever on politics, faith and morality, but along the lines of class and ethnicity. Those who opposed Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court and stood by Sgt. Crowley in the face-off with Harvard's Henry Louis Gates were called racists. But this time they did not back down. They threw the same vile word right back in the face of their accusers, and Barack Obama.
Consider but a few issues on which Americans have lately been bitterly divided: school prayer, the Ten Commandments, evolution, the death penalty, abortion, homosexuality, assisted suicide, affirmative action, busing, the Confederate battle flag, the Duke rape case, Terri Schiavo, Iraq, amnesty, torture.
Now it is death panels, global warming, "birthers" and socialism. If a married couple disagreed as broadly and deeply as Americans do on such basic issues, they would have divorced and gone their separate ways long ago. What is it that still holds us together?
The European-Christian core of the country that once defined us is shrinking, as Christianity fades, the birth rate falls and Third World immigration surges. Globalism dissolves the economic bonds, while the cacophony of multiculturalism displaces the old American culture.
"E pluribus unum" – out of many, one - was the national motto the men of '76 settled upon. One sees the pluribus. But where is the unum? One sees the diversity. But where is the unity?
Is America , too, breaking up?

Outburst! I Couldn't Let this Go

As per Yahoo News, "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi directed a fierce frown at him; first lady Michelle Obama pursed her lips and shook her head from side to side. Vice President Joe Biden looked down and shook his head, too."
Well there you have it, the ministers of good etiquette have cast their shadow upon the individual Congressman whose emotions got the better of him. Mercy, please.

Seems I remember from history class that in the making of this nation, with some of the most intellectual government representatives this country has EVER had, the congressional meetings/conferences were quite "heated," with debates, name calling and likewise. Seems people do this when they feel passionate about the subject being discussed. Too bad Nancy Pelosi, Michele Obama and Joe Biden missed their chance to LOOK DOWN THEIR NOSES to the likes of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison.....hmm where we would be today if those former persons had been around at that time?

I agree..Just turn around and use the same expressions

The current president in his address to the joint house of Congress closed his speech in the following manner;

"I still believe we can act even when it's hard. I still believe we can replace
acrimony with civility, and gridlock with progress. I still believe we can do
great things, and that here and now we will meet history's test.
"Because that is who we areCheck Spelling. That is our calling. That is our character. Thank you, God
bless you, and may God bless the United States of America."

I also believe in these same great things it's just that we should use these words in the correct manner for the proper subject of addressing the real issues of our time. Do you really believe the health care initiative is from the goodness of their hearts? Would it, could it, possibly have something to do with $, changing hands of power from the individual to the state? Please wake up, has anyone from the gov't ever given anything to you for free?

Great words, lyric, poetic even but just a waste when used to address a topic sending us in the wrong direction.

True? -or- a moronic conspiracy idea? Have fun with it.

OK, It's a long one.....though I can not confirm all points made I can ascertain it makes interesting reading.....investigate it yourselves

Chrysler - Scandal of Epic Proportions? For your mind to digest... True? -or- a moronic conspiracy idea? Have fun with it.
This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton’s Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison. Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straights and federal government graciously offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "Too big to fail," same story with GM.
The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar- literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM.
Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships to be closed. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other then Mr. Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government 788 had donated money, exclusively, to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only "Democratic" dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary's campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama's campaign. Does thatseem a little odd to you?
Steve Rattner, the guy who put the list together. Well, he happens to be married to a babe named Maureen White. Maureen happens to be the former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she would have access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation, Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky coincidence, we're certain.
Then comes another really wacky coincidence. On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happened in Arkansas, North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri. It seems that Bill Clinton's former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealerships in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson. Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers.Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed - not one- while all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus, by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn't that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story's there, and it's in a dozen or so other web-based news organization, this isn't being made up.
Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are truly mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Worker's union- Fiat owns 20%.The other 15% is till privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn't want to run the auto industry.
As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America, it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs just because they don't agree with his political agenda. This is Nazi Germany/Italian Fascism stuff, and it's happening right here, right now, in your back yard. There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the "Automotive Task Force" has released no information to the public or any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. Keep your ear to the ground for more on this story. If you've ever wanted to make a difference about anything in your life, get on the phone to your national senator or representative in the House and demand an investigation on this.
Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, "All that's necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
Car Czar No More
An amazing thing happened as this story was going to press. Obama's Car Czar, Steve Rattner, resigned on July 13 and was promptly replaced by former steel workers union boss Ron Bloom. According to CBS News, Rattner left "to return to private life and spend time with his family." Treasure Secretary Tim Geithner said, "I hope that he takes another opportunity to bring his unique skills to government service in the future." By the way, Rattner is under investigation for a multi-million dollar pay-to-play investment bank scandal in New York.Uh-oh! But, we're certain that had nothing to do with his resignation. And, according to several news sources out there, there are rumors he's being investigated for what could be pay-to-play scandal involving the closing of Chrysler and GM dealerships. Really? Again, that couldn't have anything to with his resignation- that's ridiculous!Like CBS said, this guy just wants to spend more quality time with his family. Obama has thirty-two personally appointed "czars" that answer to no one but him, all of whom are acting without any Constitutional authority. But hey, we're sure they all have "unique skills," as Tim Geithner likes to say.

When Adults will not listen....

When Adults will not listen…..

“President to make Un-precedented address to Public School students,” read the headline. Approval ratings dropping, ObamaCare stalling near ka-put, Americans becoming energized and standing up to say enough is enough. When under a barrage of criticism I suppose the idea is to address an audience who will not oppose you. Perhaps planting the seeds for future though I am sure parents fed up with government intrusion will tutor their children on the real message behind this “un-precented address.” I know I will.
