You Should Read this before Voting in November
Centuries of government deception have suspended our freedom and replaced it with a mythology rich in the ideals we are promised but do not actually experience.
The government’s lies have become our country’s heritage, passed down generationally and accepted over time as status quo. We allow our leaders to regulate, under false pretenses, every area of our supposedly free lives: What we eat, how our money is spent, how we protect ourselves. The basic tenets of living in a free society–the primacy of the individual and limited government–are violated routinely and with little objection from those most affected.
Judge Napolitano traces the deterioration of American freedom year by year, event by event, from the birth of the U.S. government to the economic and military crises of today. He illustrates how this distorted interpretation of government translates to loss for Americans–loss of life, loss of property, loss of freedom. The cost is staggering.
Amid the bleak revelation is a call to action. Judge Napolitano offers a blueprint to salvage our freedom and restore the government to its intended role as an instrument to protect the freedoms of the people.

TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT OBAMA'S CABINET ....
... and you'll understand why this man is the most anti-business and anti-private sector president in our history.
Last year J.P. Morgan thought it might be interesting to look into the private sector experience of Obama's Cabinet. America, after all, was in the middle of an economic disaster and the thought was that the president might actually look to some people with a record of success in the private sector for advice. So a study is done comparing Obama's Cabinet to the cabinets of presidents going back to 1900. secretaries of State, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Interior, Labor, Transportation, Energy and Housing and Urban Development were included. The J.P Morgan study looked at the percentages of cabinet members with prior private sector experience, and the results were amazing.
The presidential cabinet with the highest percentage of private sector experience was that of Dwight Eisenhower at around 58%. The lowest --- until Obama --- was Kennedy at about 28%. The average ran between 35% and 40% ... until, as I said, Obama. Care to guess what percentage of Obama's cabinet has prior private sector experience? Try 7%.
So ... now you might have a better idea why Obama can't quite figure out how to grow jobs in the private sector. He's a big-government president with a bit-government cabinet. When your cabinet is made up almost wholly of people with nothing but government experience with a sprinkling of academia behind them you have to know that the private sector is going to not only get short shrift .. but it's going to be pretty much abused or ignored. To Obama and his advisors the private sector exists to support and fund the federal government ... and little more.
Welcome to the wonderful world of centrally planned economies.

Even a Va. "Democrat" has a Good Notion
The NAACP believes the tea party is racist. The tea party believes the NAACP is racist. And Pat Buchanan got into trouble recently by pointing out that if Elena Kagan is confirmed to the Supreme Court, there will not be a single Protestant Justice, although Protestants make up half the U.S. population and dominated the court for generations.

A Moment of Good News...
Dear American Energy Advocate,
As you may have heard, the anti-energy advocates in Congress have temporarily suspended their plans to pass a cap and trade national energy tax. These politicians have spent years repackaging, renaming, and rebranding their programs, making backroom deals and twisting arms, and fighting the wishes of the American people. Today we dealt them a major setback. The most important lesson to be learned? Never underestimate the American people. No matter how many times Congress gave this plan an extreme makeover—from cap-and-trade to carbon pricing to carbon caps—you knew the truth: it is nothing more than a national energy tax.
And, thanks to you, the national energy tax is dead...for now. We at the American Energy Alliance are grateful to you for making your voice heard and joining our fight to defeat this harmful policy.
While we celebrate today, it is important to remember that as long as there are policymakers, anti-energy advocates, and legislators who want to use energy rationing to damage the American way of life, our fight continues. We expect the Obama Administration will respond to Congress’ defeat by directing the EPA to redouble its efforts to regulate our energy. And when that—or any other threat—emerges, we’ll be ready. And we’ll need your help.
Thank you for helping us successfully put the brakes on cap-and-trade. The fight isn’t over, but the momentum is moving in our direction!

The Obama Tax Tsunami
From the Heritage Foundation:
"the Senate rejected Sen. Jim DeMint's (R-SC) effort to end the Death Tax. This year is actually the first year since 1916 that Americans do not have to pay any federal taxes when a family member dies. But thanks to the way Congress had to pass the legislation that phased out the Death Tax in 2001, it is set to go from zero percent to 55 percent at the stroke of midnight on December 31, 2010.
The Death Tax is but one of many government taxes on capital and entrepreneurship, and its reinstatement will be yet another job killer from the Obama administration. It rewards estate tax lawyers, insurance companies and big businesses at the expense of small family-owned enterprises. According to a study by the American Family Business Foundation, a full repeal of the death tax, like the one rejected by the Senate last night, would create 1.5 million jobs. Before the vote, Sen. DeMint described the tax as an "unfair, immoral double tax on property and assets that folks have already paid taxes on throughout their lives." He added: "The Obama death tax is just the latest example of this administration's assault on small businesses."
