Ever the optimist I believe all things are possible if you set your mind to it. While you may hear time and again from those around you that things are getting worse and there's nothing we can do about, to that I say never give in we CAN make a change. Look for the bright spots in the worst situations.
When Obama was elected I felt as though someone had killed my next of kin. Over time I have grown to see this as a "awakening," for our country. As we faced bearing the burden of the most liberal-socialist president we've had in recent years and adding to this our displeasure with Bush for racketing up spending like a drunk Democrat, all seemed dire and the black clouds were looming. Though with all of this on our back we have come together, initiated a new political force (the Tea party), brought them to office in a massive tsunami in November 2010, filed suit after suit against and seek to bring the judicial branch (the Supreme Court) into the constitutionality question of ObamaCare, have Ron Paul at a level of popularity where he should always be and the head of a committee looking into the dealings of the Federal Reserve (and hopefully can pry open enough information to shock everyday Americans into demanding it's demise). His son is now a Senator demanding more cuts in spending and the fresh crop of "Tea partiers," keeping the old school Republicans focused on what they should be doing. These are all great things that originated with you the voter saying enough is enough. Here's a list of good news below;
