Fostering More Irresponsibility

Ladies & Gentlemen, in case you missed it,"Obama Administration Announces New Details on Making Home Affordable Program and Parallel Second Lien Program to Help Homeowners Achieve Greater, Affordability Integration of Hope for Homeowners to Help Underwater Borrowers Regain Equity in their Homes."

I'm sorry this is insanity. This in effect is a temporary reprieve for those irresponsible buyers whose loans were backed up by FM&FM originally through government pressure on the banks. To give the appearance to voters that the current administration is "working for them." So forget learning the hard lessons of financial responsibility the government "nanny," will be there to help you. If we do not fix the problem we are only exacerbating it....delaying the inevitable and hurting ourselves, our children and our nation. Do Not Buy What You Can Not Afford...it is that simple.

I have the PDF files for details if you are interested, just email me.

Tea Party Patriots!

Tea Party Patriots, an un-apathetic group, what we need more of!

Dear Friends and Citizens,

I would like to take the opportunity to recognize the Tea Party events and participants of such on Tax day April 15th 2009. Citizens came together across southeast Virginia, the state and the nation to voice their displeasure of government actions in regards to the “stimulus,” packages, bail outs and other runaway spending programs. These displeasures transcended party lines and reached into the hearts of every community. These Tea Parties were not protesting taxation without representation but displeasure and discontent with actions or lack of such by our elected representatives. People feel the government should try to make business climate receptive to the excelling of its citizens and not act as a wealth redistribution center.
Some news networks avoided coverage of these events as they did not fit their agendas or views and some even gave condescending remarks about the idiocy of such events. Certainly each of us is welcome to form our own opinions and my own is that there is nothing more America than voicing your own views publicly or privately without fear of retribution. In this case it was on the performance of our elected officials and as they work for us let’s ensure we hold them accountable. These persons participating in the Tea Parties rose above a problematic consciousness of our society today, apathy. Whether you agree or disagree with their views we all should recognize that becoming less apathetic and more involved, taking responsibility and not shirking it will improve many areas of our lives and nation.

Kind regards,

Jonathan Varnell

This is America and we believe in Free Speech

Professor Wichman E-mail
Claim: A Michigan professor sent an e-mail telling Muslim students to leave the country. Status: True. The story begins at Michigan State University
with a mechanical engineering professor named Indrek Wichman.

Wichman sent an e-mail to the Muslim Student's Association. The e-mail was in response to the students' protest of the Danish cartoons that portrayed the Prophet Muhammad as a terrorist.
The group had complained the cartoons were 'hate speech'
============
Enter Professor Wichman
In his e-mail, he said the following:
===============================
Dear Moslem Association,
As a professor of Mechanical Engineering here at MSU I intend to protest your protest.
I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians,
cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests
(the latest in Turkey), burnings of Christian churches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt , the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavian girls and women (called 'whores' in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland,
and the rioting and looting in Paris, France. This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many of my colleagues. I counsel you dissatisfied, aggressive, brutal,
and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile 'protests.' If you do not like the values of the West - see the 1st Amendment - you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option .Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.
Cordially,
I. S. Wichman
Professor of Mechanical Engineering
As you can imagine, the Muslim group at the university didn't like this too well.
They're demanding that Wichman be reprimanded and the university impose mandatory diversity training for faculty and mandate a seminar on hate and discrimination for all freshmen.
Now the local chapter of CAIR has jumped into the fray . CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, apparently doesn't believe that the good professor had the right to express his opinion. ==========
For its part, the university is standing its ground in support of Professor Wichman,
saying the e-mail was private, and they don't intend to publicly condemn his remarks..

100 days to Socialism

How long will it take for America to become a Socialist Country? Perhaps less than 100 days into the new administration if the Bank stocks the Gov't owns are converted to common shares....read more http://thehill.com/dick-morris/obamas-leap-to-socialism-2009-04-21.html

News of the New Coalition(as per photo to the upper right)

"Well why shouldn't I smile and shake his hand,"....yes and too bad he missed out of teaming with Chamberlain to visit Hitler and achieve "Peace in Our Time." This sends the wrong message to the world about what we as a nation stand for...or is it that I'm backwards and this sends exactly the message the current administration intended?

Brouhaha, Hubbub & Uproar

Brouhaha....Hubbub.....& Uproar, these are the words I understood coming from the Dept of Homeland Securities report (9 pager) on "right-wing extremist which is available at http://www.thelibertypapers.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/hsa-rightwing-extremism-09-04-07.pdf.

It seems the current administration doesn't take well to your average everyday citizen raining on their parade. Excerpts, "Right wing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment tool. Many right wing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use, "and, " From the 2008 election time frame to the present, right wing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers."

Now this tends to sound a lot like if you do not agree with the current administration then you're probably a right-wing extremist. Therefore I suppose if you do NOT believe in, Increasing taxes, Illegal immigrants receiving citizenship, forcing banks to give loans to otherwise unqualified individuals, bail-outs for private companies, overturning the secret ballot act for union membership (asininely called the "Card Check Bill"), cutting deals with known (and sworn) enemies of liberty and justice well then you're a right-wing extremist....what's next we'll be considered "terrorists?" Please, this is a load of bunk. What this is, is the current administration using a well-meaningful established department to fight 'REAL TERRORIST," to counter a true American sentiment. What will come later.... the Dept of Homeland Security "Brown shirts," coming around to collect us and put us into "protective security?"

There is nothing more American than what the people participating in today's Tea Parties are doing. It reflects the true American spirit beyond political affiliation. People are sick of bureaucrats out of touch with the every day person spending their tax money wastefully. That is it. Obama has come in taking spending from what the previous administration started and multiplied. If there is anyone who should be considered as "UnAmerican," it is his Socialist administration. Brouhaha...well Humbug.

Once again I ask each and everyone if you do not like what is going on I encourage you to write or call your local, state or national representatives and tell them how you feel.

Please see below as forwarded to my elected represenatives for the State of Virginia as well our current President.

Dear Senator,
As tomorrow there are "Tea Parties," scheduled across our nation and our state of Virginia we would certainly hope that you would pay close attention to what the citizens participating and who placed you in office expect from you. We would appreciate honest and just persons in government who serve the people and the Constitution of the United States. We do not want big government and we certainly do not want a big government interfering in our lives any more than necessary to protect our rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution. Please understand that this transcends political parties and is about basic freedom from the taxing oppression the people desire in the same manner our forefathers who stood their ground against the British in colonial America. Take notice and stand up for our rights.
Sincerely,
Jonathan E. Varnell
