Constitutional Empathy

Liberals have historically used the courts to enact by judicial fiat laws that they could not persuade the public and its elected representatives to embrace.  In striking down ObamaCare, Judge Vinson exercised his judicial discretion and affirmed the will of the American people over a recalcitrant governing party.

Thank You Ronald Reagan - Happy 100th Birthday!

Today we observe the legacy of Ronald Reagan, one of the BEST Presidents this country has ever had.  During his tenure he fought tooth and nail for the vision of America he believed in and is a steady reminder to all of us that freedom is NOT free and we have to protect our nation from all enemies both foreign & domestic.  Our country stands similarly where it stood before he began his first term as President with an executive in the white house who could easily pass for Jimmy Carter's son/protege.  We need to be prepared to put a Reagan-like individual in the White House in 2012 and show once again what a GREAT country we have.

Supporting our Troops

A few individuals have formed a group in Va. to provide support for those who have stood up and decided to give part of their (or all of their) lives for our country, our servicemen.  I would only give missionaries a higher rating than servicemen.  While we do not support the ever-lasting presence of our servicemen in overseas posts (approx. in 170 countries today - (?) WHICH IS A NEED OF CHANGE IN OUR FOREIGN POLICY we do 100% those who stand up and serve.  God Bless you all and thank you to the individuals such as these who provide support.Group sends items to US Soldiers - click here

While I do NOT support Palin for President I do support anyone that is patriotic and stands up to defend our nation and Palin does just that. Virginia - Looking for two Good Senators

In the recent vote to repeal ObamaCare in the Senate the two Senators from my home state of VIRGINIA, Mark Warner and Jim Webb, clearly demonstrated their stance to return to the real working world in 2012.  Webb voted against repeal and Warner well there's a word for it on the playground but let's just say he didn't "man-up." In politics though they call it abstaining or in Warner's case it was a family emergency.  IF it was we're truly sorry and hope all is settled though on the political field he has stated his defence of ObamaCare even though he "missed," the chance to go "on the record."  Don't worry we will in 2012.

Courage, Prudence, Justice, and Wisdom

Reagan embodied many of the classical virtues that the best political leaders possess: courage, prudence, justice, and wisdom. And he used each of these virtues to create an environment where the U.S. economy could strongly recover from our last great recession. The current occupant of the White House ought to take some better notes.
